Invitation to the Acorn Course
Saturday 19th November, Drymen Church @ 10am
There is something! It is called ACORN, a simple practice that seeks to connect Christians with the work God is doing in others through caring conversation. – No need to worry about having the gift of evangelism!
It was initiated by Michael Harvey who has agreed to deliver his vision in Drymen on 19th November. The last 30 months have shown; it works. Mature Christians come alive, people come to faith and churches are noticing God is at work through them and some are growing!
Acorn teaches us that it is not about us, but about Him. Our failures, our past, or our inabilities do not disqualify any of us from following God in mission. At a time when we are being urged, by the Church of Scotland, to be more Missional in our thinking this is in a simple, non-threatening way to share our faith.
So please come along and hear Michael Harvey (a lively speaker) present ACORN in the comfort of Drymen Church - you’ll even get a cup of coffee!

Just Plane Fun!
On Saturday 7th May MAF had one of their aircraft in Drymen Square. It was a fun filled day for all and the weather was fine too! Drymen Church has cemented its relationship with MAF in a weekend of activities highlighting MAFs direct action aid and christian outreach to the people of South Sudan.
Andy Martin from Mission Aviation Fellowship was our guest speaker on Sunday 8th bringing us a message of hope from the book of Luke and talking to us about their work in South Sudan. You can hear Andy’s recorded sermon via our SoundCloud page.
